To supplement his development Julian has been trained to coach level in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). He is also an accredited practitioner for Insights Discovery profiling. This is a tool for developing individuals and teams. To add to this he is an experienced user of well established coaching tools such as Myers Briggs, Best Year Yet, Performance Circle, and TGROW.
Julian is a proud father and gives his time to his daughter’s primary school as a member of the board of governors. In this role, amongst other things, he is Governor with Responsibility for Child Protection.
Julian chose to train with BAAM after observing bullying in the workplace and becoming interested in the after effects of anger on the individual. Julian offers one to one coaching as well as group programmes. He is currently developing bespoke programmes for companies, with emphasis on call centres. These help employees deal with the effects of anger directed at them and can be particularly effective at improving staff morale and reducing absenteeism.
